As far as subject, I paint about ideas and things that are meaningful to me. My work is about my connection to life. I am creating a personal mythology; making things that fascinate me and connect me to the natural world surrounding all of us, and to myself through objects that fascinate me and hold additional symbolic meaning.
I am one of those lucky people who has more ideas than I know what to do with.
My studio is located within Artworks Loveland, http://www.artworksloveland.org/. Artworks home to a community of contemporary visual artists in downtown Loveland, Colorado. Right on the way to the town of Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park!
Kayo Peeler Art Studio is open to the public every 2nd Friday, which is Loveland's Night on the Town. There are many galleries and shops open these evenings, so it makes a wonderful evening out.
